In a piece of internal company news, we are delighted to announce the arrival of John Devlin, who is joining Valour Consultancy on a permanent basis as a Director and Senior Analyst.
John (JD) joins from P.A.ID Strategies, a company he founded in 2015. The organisation’s focus on Payments, Authentication, Identity (P.A.ID) and Security of people, devices and transactions will merge into an expanded research portfolio at Valour. JD’s expertise will help us to offer research and consultancy services in a broader range of industry verticals, to support clients in an increasingly digitised and connected world.
Prior to P.A.ID, JD began his career with a 9-year spell at IMS research – working with all three Valour co-founders – before moving to ABI in 2010 where he once again teamed up with Craig Foster and Josh Flood. JD specialises in providing and developing market intelligence and custom research to companies and organisations looking to better understand their environments and find a way to move forward in the face of disruptive technologies and competition.
Valour Consultancy co-founder, Craig Foster, commented: “I have known JD for many years and it was always a mutual goal to join forces in the future. After working particularly closely over the past 12 months on our new smart airports research projects, the synergies between Valour and P.A.ID became abundantly clear. Now is therefore an ideal time to bring John on board to complement our existing mobility and transportation portfolio and diversify our coverage into payments, identity and security-related segments.”
JD added: “As an analyst with more than 15 years of commercial experience, I enjoy working with companies to help them identify, address and resolve issues to improve their business performance. Valour has built an impressive reputation – particularly in the aviation and maritime sectors – and I look forward to supporting future activities across the commercial, retail, industrial, government, enterprise and financial sectors.”
More information about the P.A.ID research portfolio will be available on our website in the coming weeks and months. If you have any questions about our new or existing services, please get in touch with our team.
