The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious awards for outstanding achievement and serve as national recognition for business excellence. In 2020, Valour Consultancy was selected as a winner in the category for International Trade following outstanding growth in overseas earnings over the previous three years. Celebrations were put on hold during the pandemic, but the Valour team finally got together this month to receive the award in person.
On Thursday 9 June, the commemorative crystal trophy and Grant of Appointment certificate were presented by Air Vice Marshal Gary Waterfall CBE (pictured) at Valour’s UK headquarters in Grantham, Lincolnshire. One of The Queen’s Lord-Lieutenant representatives was also in attendance. This followed Valour co-founder Craig Foster’s trip to Windsor Castle to attend a royal reception, in the company of Prince Charles and Princess Anne.
“It was a privilege to bring our team together in one place and reflect on this significant achievement. It is a day we will look back on with fond memories. We remain incredibly proud of this award, which recognises the hard work and sacrifices made to build Valour’s global reputation in the aviation and maritime communities.” said co-founder Daniel Welch, who jetted in from Australia to attend. Joshua Flood added: “We are grateful to our clients, old and new, around the world who continue to rely on our market intelligence and consultancy services. We truly appreciate the support.”
Craig Foster concluded: “The company continues to expand, with ambitious growth plans including the recent merger with P.A.ID Strategies. This occasion doubled as a 10th anniversary celebration, and we look forward to seeing what the next decade holds.”
